This wireless HDMI kit basically creates a dedicated 5Ghz WIFI bridge that automatically connects / syncs up. This system does not go through a shared wireless network. It is a self contained bridge that is plug and play to setup. In the video, Mike shows how easy it is to setup a bridge between a CCTV DVR in the tech room at CCTV Camera Pros office, and Mike's private office that is in the same building about 40 feet away. The wireless video signal is traveling through 2 rooms and 2 layers of drywall. In addition to the wireless video transmission, the kit can also send the signals from the DVR's IR remote control from the display monitor location, back to the DVR (over the same wireless bridge).
