180 Security Cameras - 4mp vs 1080p
https://www.cctvcamerapros.com/180-cameras - Here is a video comparison of two 180 security cameras using 4mp vs 1080p resolution models. Both of these HD CCTV cameras have a 180 degree, ultra wide angle lens and both are in the same bullet style weatherproof housing. They have the same IR night vision rating and work with Analog CCTV (CVBS), AHD, HD-TVI, and HD-CVI format DVRs. These 180 degree security cameras are virtually identical in specification, except that one has a 4 megapixel image sensor and lens, and the other has a 1080p / 2 megapixel image sensor and lens. Here are links to the two cameras. The 4MP-B180 is the 4MP model. https://www.cctvcamerapros.com/180-Degree-Security-Camera-p/4mp-b180.htm The AHD-BL25 is the 1080p / 2 MP model. https://www.cctvcamerapros.com/Wide-Angle-Security-Camera-p/ahd-bl25.htm These cameras are used for indoor and outdoor installations. To record the video surveillance footage for this demo, both cameras were installed in the exact same location, on the exterior of Mike's house in Boynton Beach, Florida. Mike is the co-founder of CCTV Camera Pros and is the person that appears in the video. RG59 Siamese coax cable was used to hard wire the cameras to an iDVR-PRO 4K surveillance DVR. Here is a link to the 4K DVR that was used to record the video footage. https://www.cctvcamerapros.com/4K-Security-Camera-DVRs-s/1456.htm Here is a link to the RG59 Siamese coax cable that is used to install analog CCTV and HD CCTV cameras (AHD, HD-TVI, HD-CVI). https://www.cctvcamerapros.com/RG59-Siamese-CCTV-Cable-s/259.htm For the best possible viewing experience, watch this video in full screen on a 4K TV monitor and confirm that the YouTube player is playing the video at 4K resolution. During the video, a 3x digital zoom is applied when the video is paused on Mike's hat so that viewers can compare the 4MP vs 1080p cameras when digital zoom is applied. Obviously the "Marine" text on Mike's hat is clearer when recording with the 4mp camera. CCTV Camera Pros has been supplying 180 security cameras for over a decade.
