The complainant was in the parking lot at the Hong Kong Food Market, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that she had just loaded her car with groceries and was moving the basket when an unknown male exited a Toyota Camry (parked next to her) and quickly approached her from behind. The suspect then grabbed the complainant’s purse while pulling the complainant towards his vehicle. The suspect got into the back seat while both the suspect and complainant held onto the purse. The suspects then started to drive away, dragging the complainant in the process, until she was able to free herself from the purse strap. The suspects then fled in an unknown direction out of the parking lot.
