License Plate Recognition System Night Capture
https://www.cctvcamerapros.com/anpr - Watch this video demo of a Viewtron license plate recognition system detecting and recording plates at night. Night time license plate capture is more challenging than day time because of car headlights, tail lights, and license plate lights. The surveillance system used in this video demo consists of a Viewtron LPR camera, 2 Viewtron AI security cameras (used as overview cameras), and a Viewtron network video recorder. These are all network IP cameras and they are all communicating over a wireless bridge to the location where the NVR is installed. Please note that use of a wireless network bridge is optional and being used in this case because of the light pole location where the cameras are installed. Here are links to equipment. IP LPR Camera https://www.cctvcamerapros.com/LPR-IP-Camera-p/lpr-ip7.htm AI Security Camera (overview cameras) https://www.cctvcamerapros.com/4mp-IP-bullet-camera-p/ip-a4bz.htm Viewtron Network Video Recorder (NVR) https://www.cctvcamerapros.com/IP-Camera-NVRs-s/1472.htm Complete License Plate Recognition System https://www.cctvcamerapros.com/LPR-ANPR-Camera-System-p/vt-lpr-s2.htm Optional Wireless Bridge https://www.cctvcamerapros.com/Wireless-Camera-Antenna-p/wifi-eh9500.htm The LPR camera and NVR both have LPR and ANPR software built-in which work together. LPR stands for license plate recognition. ANPR stands for automatic number plate recognition. These enable the plate and the actual numbers to be detected by the software. Using at least on overview security camera with an LPR camera is important because the LPR camera is designed to only capture plates. CCTV Camera Pros designs custom LPR systems that can include as many cameras as a customer requires. We supply these systems worldwide.
