On Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at around 5:20 pm, the complainant had listed his laptop for sale on an online selling app and agreed to meet with an unknown male at the McDonald’s, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that upon his arrival, he met with the male inside the McDonald’s and showed him that the laptop was unlocked and functional. The complainant stated that after logging into the computer, the suspect grabbed the laptop and ran out of the restaurant. The complainant ran after the suspect, but stopped when the suspect threatened him, and then got into white Land Rover Discovery with a temporary license plate.
